She used to be a person who was rambunctious and whose voice carried
That was until one too many knives went in her back, leaving her personality buried
The woman that was once the loudest in a room is now the quietest
This isn't who she once was in the slightest
Once an expressor and lover of all, carrying no level of reserve
Now she's known to sit in a room in silence and do nothing but observe
She used to touch everything and smell the flowers in the store
Since her repair from two ghosts in a haunted home, that version of her was laid to rest and she is no more
This version of her avoids people like the plague
To avoid connection her responses are almost always vague
She used to prefer company rather than being alone
Now only with herself does she feel home
Her smile is beautiful and friendly yet she's now known to be cold
She had enough of pulling her deck just to end with a fold
She believes in success, being genuine, and thriving
But it's clear- it's no longer her heart that's driving
You could try and try to make her speak
But what she has to say will most likely be bleak
In that warm October winter she endured a shift so deep, it caused a crack
She worked effortlessly and got everything except her ability to feel back
She stays far and always guarded
If anyone gets too close they'll too be discarded
She stopped asking questions and no longer needed answers
She no longer looked to others and started writing her own verse
She writes poetry often and reads many books
She offers this world no words and more looks
She's an adventurer yet so recluse
That's how she stays as it keeps her footing from becoming loose
She mastered her inner makes
She even took the time to understand her own mistakes
She worked with things left only in the dark
To give justice and light up what was once her spark
She offered herself a new level of self care
So much so she let go of the thought of needing anyone else there
She grew to be dominant and vicious in work and in her ways
So much so people often look to her for guidance in what she says
She reconstructed herself from a follower to a leader
So much so people asked please tell them how she came to be her
But while her knowledge becomes something so proud
Her Silence...Has Become So Loud
